Don't miss Puccini's classic romantic opera performed by the Pittsburgh Opera starring Maria Luigia Borsi as Cio-Cio San and Bryan Hymel as Benjamin Franklin Pinkerton.

Cio-Cio, a young Japanese woman, sacrifices her family and her religion to be with Pinkerton, a U.S. Naval officer. Her trusting heart is one of the reasons why Pinkerton falls in love with her, but ultimately also one of the reasons their love is doomed.
