The Movie Maestro celebrated!

John Williams is synonymous with the spirit of adventure. With scores to films including the Star Wars Saga, Indiana Jones, Hook, Superman, recently Harry Potter, and most recently, The Force Awakens the American composer has become the most famous film composer in modern times with his easily recognizable and now, iconic tunes. In a career spanning six decades, John Williams' film scores are now firmly rooted in popular culture. He's so synonymous with the series in fact, that even Family Guy's Blue Harvest pastiche of Star Wars featured him in a couple of surprisingly respectful visual jokes!

This special two-hour concert pays tribute to Williams by performing his biggest hits, courtesy of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. A must-see (and hear) for movie fans and classical alike, join the PSO for an adventure that will certainly take you to galaxies, far, far away! The concert is conducted by Lawrence Loh.
