Why See The Magnetic Fields?
look who's back!
Ostensibly created as one of multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter Stephen Merritt's side projects for his laconic wit and verve, The Magnetic Fields have proven their strength from their 1991 debut '100,000 Fireflies' to vast '69 Love Songs'. Now, as Merritt enters his 50th year, they head out on a very special tour in support of his newest ambitious retrospective '50 Song Memoir', featuring one melodious number for each year of his illustrious half century.
The now seven strong band will hit each venue for two spectacular nights, playing songs 1-25 on the first evening and 26-50 on the second! So don't miss everyone's favorite ironic songwriter when he returns to the scene in 2018.
Performance date: 19 June 2018
