Check out which Broadway hits are coming to Pittsburgh!

Pittsburgh is welcoming Broadway back to the Benedum Center in 2021! On the roster will be the mega-hit Hamilton and the groundbreaking Broadway favorite To Kill A Mockingbird. Other Broadway hits coming to the Benedum Center during the 2021/2022 season include, Hadestown, Pretty Woman: The Musical, Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, Oklahoma! and Ain't Too Proud: The Life And Times of The Temptations.

HADESTOWN

Benedum Center: September 7 - September 12, 2021
Cleaning up during the 2018/19 awards season, plucky folk opera Hadestown garnered eight Tony Awards (including the coveted Tony for Best Musical), four Drama Desk Awards, six Outer Critics Circle Awards and a Drama League Award. This came as no surprise given the production received much acclaim during both its Off-Broadway and Broadway runs, praised for its soaring imagination, a vibrant retelling of a classic story and a sumptuous score that evokes smoky New Orleans jazz and bubbling Americana-tinged folk. Don't miss out when the lauded musical hits the road on its hotly anticipated national tour!

OKLAHOMA!

Benedum Center: January 4 - 9, 2022
First making its bow on the Great White Way in 1943, Rodgers and Hammerstein's evergreen classic Oklahoma! whisked early audiences away from the stark realities of World War II and offered up a song-filled optimism and unity. Reclaiming its joyous melodies, can-do spirit and classic plot, New York-based director Daniel Fish revived the song-and-dance spectacular in his home city in early 2019, earning eight Tony Award nominations, including Best Revival Of A Musical, for its stripped-back, Country-western treatment of the original score and vivid, darker depiction of the Wild West reflected in its naturalistic staging and style. HAMILTON

Benedum Center: February 22 - March 13, 2022
A true cultural phenomenon, Lin-Manuel Miranda's Pulitzer Prize-winning Hamilton, is changing the face of the modern musical. An exhilarating historical epic that is equal parts Sondheim and Notorious B.I.G., this record-breaking Broadway musical traces the life and times of Alexander Hamilton, one of America's most important (and colorful) historical figures.
