Dear Colleen, I'm so sorry you didn't have a good time at the show. I am, in fact, a member of the company of PRISCILLA and wanted to clear up a point. Our DIVAS that descend from above do, in fact, sing every note live each and every night. They are three of the most talented young performers it has been my pleasure to work with. All of our ensemble sing live and constantly. Given the nature of the show and the tremendous number of Oscar, Tony and Olivier Award winning costumes they must change into...they are not only transforming themselves continually into a variety of characters backstage, but they are singing full on while changing wigs, makeup AND clothing. This is one of the most talented groups of people I have ever worked with. Each and every night, the audience responds to our show like we have just finished a rock concert. 2.5 hours of pure JOY!!
My sisters and I took our 80 year old dad and his 79 year old lady friend to see this show today for their birthdays. All 5 of us loved the show...500 over-the-top, spangled, feathered, amazing costumes, fabulous disco songs of the 70's and 80's, and the sweetest drag queens you could hope for! Fabulous.
