Rickie Lee Jones' eclectic style, meanwhile, has put her firmly in the annals of music history, named in VH1's Greatest Women in Rock n Roll. A rare chance to see two gems in one show!
Patty Griffin is a true sweetheart of folk and gospel. Her first studio album, Living With Ghosts, was released in 1996 and received critical acclaim, revered for its stripped-down songwriting. Her work has been covered by musicians including Emmylou Harris, Ellis Paul, Rory Block, and the Dixie Chicks, and has received much praise from her peers including Willie Nelson. Griffin also worked with British musician Robert Plant on his 2010 solo album Band of Joy.
First coming to promience in 1978, Rickie Lee Jones is known for her fearless persona and mind-blowing vocal talent which has touched upon blues, jazz and more in her Grammy Winning career. With fifteen albums, two Grammy wins and eight nominations, she's worth every bit of her acclaim as one of the greatest of the past century.
